What is the greatest challenge in writing a book?

Writing a poetry book may look simple as the word count may be lesser. But many do not know Microsoft Word cannot correct your grammar unlike for prose. So the greatest challenge in poetry book I’d say is proof reading your own work.

How much research do you do before writing the book?

Compiling my poems in form of book was completely different from spontaneously writing a poem. I went to book stores, libraries to find poetry books. I found very few poetry books. They were mostly translated anthologies from regional languages. Book stores had mostly classics like Robert Frost, Shakespeare and few translated poetry books by Gulzar, Javed Akhtar etc. So I went online and read poetry books.

I also did lot of research on illustrations. I have put a lot of hard work in sketching too. I researched about the title Philia and Sophia. Philia is actually ‘love’ in greek philosophy. There are four kinds of love, Agape Philia Eros and and Storge.
