Pawan Yadav Interview – Hello Identity Book

We interviewed Pawan Yadav. He had completed hisMechanical engineering from Army Institute of Technology, Pune. He is currently working with FCA India Automobiles Pvt.Ltd. (Formerly known as-Fiat Group India automobiles Pvt. Ltd.) as Corporate Brand & Market research Analyst. He has expertise in arena of sales, marketing and branding for more than a decade with various MNCs.

By virtue of his inclination towards writing made him internationally acclaimed author for couple of business books, published and marketed by renowned publisher of India. Being a thought leader , he extensively writes on youth, careers and entrepreneurship. He is also a consultant for budding entrepreneurs.

He was previously founder of a technology company. He has authored various books. He was awarded by Mr. Param Kannampilly, Chairman & Managing Director, Concept Hospitality for his book “Building up Green Businesses ” during the second edition of Green Hotel Conference in Mumbai.

What inspired you to start writing?

Surprisingly, most people don’t know their area of interest. I was one among them .But after entering into the engineering college, I was fortunate to discover the same. I got opportunity to write and experiment for college magazine first time. I found it more interesting than reading a technical book, when backed up by appreciation from colleagues and faculty. So I started my journey, keeping in mind to become international author one day .

Even during that phase, I got chance to meet few alumni’s of my college who had written books on various subject. Ultimately, your surrounding matter to nurture the idea. This strengthened my idea further. Considering the fact that it’s a gradual process, I kept this interest in back of my mind every moment. I started hunting over the new ideas for which market would be open. Without putting break on my bread and butter, I utilized my spare time in jotting down the ideas even during my professional career. Finally, my dream come true when one of the renowned publisher published my first book. Off course, it was long struggle to publish my first book but my perseverance won the game. It boosted my morale to carry on this track irrespective of financial gains.

What did you liked to read when you were a boy?

Since child hood , I was fond of reading motivational and inspirational stories. Even today, it really creates a wave in me to accept the challenges and experiment something new. One can make difference if work against tides else become part of the mob. This type of content really fascinate and inspire me and my thoughts.

What is the greatest challenge in writing a book?

If I compare it with cricket, it’s not T-20 or one day but it’s like a test match which one has to play with patience. So endurance, patience and perseverance to stick with idea of book writing are real challenges to accomplish the task.

Most of us think , some initiate and only few achieves because our mind is flickering machine where our thoughts ,motivation and morale keep on flickering in day to day life .

The reason could time management or external environment factors but it’s a bitter fact. And one more fact is that human beings are emotionally and sentimentally driven machines.

Never and ever, our mind should crop up with negative thoughts for fate of our pursuing manuscript. We must have more than 100% belief to publish it irrespective of enormous constraints.

How much research do you do before writing the book?

It depends on person to person and also on genre of the book. If its business books, I normally do the research for 6-12 months before jumping into it.

If its novel, it takes me almost 6 months to define story line, its framework and characters involved in the fiction before jotting it down.

Apart from this ,one should analyze and understands the competition, Unique Selling Points (USPs) ,target audience and its commercial viability .There are other minor factors for analysis but above mentioned are major ones.

What motivated you to write the book “Hello Identity”?

All human beings are alike, but what differentiate one from other is innovative thoughts , ideas and individual’s capability to execute these .

This novel is inspired by true incidence where one had changed his destiny after executing the idea. I had seen and experienced this incidence in person. I thought to share this with aspirants who would like to succeed in their lives, thus it motivated me to jot down this true and inspirational story.

It signifies the role of an innovative idea in an individual’s life. Innovation is the footstep to success; however, the crux is to execute the idea successfully in order to taste victory. The key element in successful execution is a team. More importantly, this novel is an inspiration for the youth of today with the message that any youngster with a good idea can be successful.

Can you tell us more about your latest book “Hello Identity”?

Why he/she is successful ? Why not me? What is special in him/her? What made him/her successful ?Have you come across with such question in your life ?

This novel will unravel to all your queries but step by step. This novel is testimony for power of an idea and if one execute it with full planning and courage ,success will surely touch his /her feet .

This is a true story of Nikhil, a young man from a middle-class family, who desires to create a unique identity for himself during his student days at the engineering institute. Does he eventually manage to achieve his ambition? How?

Hello Identity –It’s my turn now , a fascinating story of a young man’s struggle to achieve an identity of his very own, is an inspiration for any individual aspiring to succeed.

How did you came up with the idea of writing inspirational fiction genre book?

I believe that there few moments in everybody’s life which always motivate or inspire . These moments could be yours in person or it may of your acquainted one.

These moments act like medicine to heal your all situational or sentimental wounds and motivate you to fight against all odds.

Since I am a live witness to this story ,this story always motivate me in my all odds and provide me courage to overcome from any situation .I am sure it will be best medicine for anyone who would like succeed in his /her life . Thus, it fascinated me to share with others too.

Who are your favourite authors?

  • I am highly inspired by Rashmi Bansal for her book Stay Hungry, Stay foolish .
  • Chetan Bhagat is ideal for me ,for his first book – Five point some one .
  • I really appreciate Robin Sharma for his book –The monk who sold his Ferrari
  • I like author Ernest Hemingway for his novel – The Old Man and the Sea
  • Paulo Coelho is one of my favourite author for his novel The Alchemist .

How much time do you dedicate for writing on a daily basis?

Since I am serving to corporate world , it’s not easy to take out time on daily basis but still I try devote at least 2 hrs per day .As I mentioned above that writing is game of endurance , patience and perseverance .You can’t do miracles overnight .It’s like planting a bud and nurturing it daily with belief to yield the flower one fine day.

What words of wisdom would you like to give to aspiring writers?

If you have any thought, idea or concept, get started! Today is the best day and your idea is the best in the world. It is the best opportunity to take you to the zenith. So plan, execute and achieve. Life never gives one a second chance. Please understand the importance of time in your life; also, you have only one life. So get going! Never put yourself in the situation of regret with the lament “I wish I had…”
