Himanshika Sharma is a young girl and comes from Ambala City. She is currently pursuing her graduations from Kurukshetra University. She has a disease called Arthritis because of which she more determined to rule the world.
What inspired you to start writing?
I am a complete bookworm. I love reading. Whenever I used to order a book, the picture of the author and about the author section used to fascinate me and I used to dream of my picture and name being printed on the cover of some book. So that thing inspired me to start writing.
What did you like to read when you were a girl?
I like every kind of book but being a girl, fiction and especially love stories intrigue me more.
What is the greatest challenge in writing a book?
What a writer does is dive in the pool of words and take out those words which not only describe the situation precisely but also compels readers to have a connection with your protagonist. So right choice of words is the greatest challenge in writing a book.
How much research do you do before writing the book?
I did a lot of research. As I am pursuing my graduations private hence never experienced college life. So I used to ask my friends how their first day was or how their first trip was. And also I used to google about the tips to nake my novel attractive.
What motivated you to write the book “Love Beyond Words”?
As I am having a disease so there are people who encourage me and then there are people who never considered me anything. Second type of people motivated me to write this book and show them that I am not worth your discouragement.
Can you tell us more about your latest book “Love Beyond Words”?
It is a story about Kriti and Kunal. Where Kriti is disabled on the contrary Kunal is a perfect man every girl dreams of. Kriti misconstrued Kunal to be someone stone hearted. Their love story faces many kind of obstacles and bad circumstances. In the end, they meet or not you have to read about it.
How did you came up with the idea of writing romance genre book?
There was a time when I was reading I too had a love story by Ravinder Singh. When I finished reading that book left me in tears. It strike my mind at that time that I want to do something like this hence ended up writing a romance genre book.
Who are your favourite authors?
There is not any kind of favorite list for me. Every author gives his or her best to complete a book.
How much time do you dedicate for writing on a daily basis?
I don’t write on a daily basis. There is no fixed time limit for me. I write whenever my heart says so.
What words of wisdom would you like to give to aspiring writers?
I would like to tell you all that do what you want to do. Write what you want to write. No matter good or bad just keep on writing. There is nothing like the word perfection in this world. No one is perfect. So if you want to do it just take a pen and a paper and scribble your heart out.
